Is there a compatible hard backer pad for more aggressive sanding?
I have not found one. I can tell you that the brand of sandpaper does make a difference. The sandpaper that came with the sander was stiffer and required less pressure and a less aggressive grit. I got Dura Gold brand which filled up quickly and required more pressure, it also is not very stiff.
